Leicestershire refuse sites reopen - new arrangements

Some of Leicestershire County Council waste sites reopened on Monday 18 May.

  • The sites at Barwell, Lount, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Mountsorrel, Oadby and Whetstone will be open. They will operate 7 days a week.
  • You must book a slot to bring your waste to a site. No booking means no entry to a site.
  • We are accepting limited types of waste only.

Concerns about dog mess

The Parish Council has received complaints from residents about dog owners not clearing up after their dogs, particularly along the footpath connecting Wellfield Close and Spinney Nook; the footpath by the park down to the fields; and on the Village Green.
